The desire to create an organic cosmetic brand was born from our family history. Close to nature, but also aware of health problems related to environmental quality, our dermatologist mother strives to consider each person as a whole. The quality of our skin is a reflection of our balance. This includes a healthy and organic diet, regular sports activity, and the use of natural and organic cosmetic products. She was thus one of the first dermatologists to recommend organic cosmetic products to her patients. It is essential for her to inquire about the danger of certain cosmetic ingredients and to prescribe the safest products. For this, she is bringing back old-fashioned, natural, and custom-made magistral preparations. Always looking for innovative products, we do not want to sacrifice performance and pleasure for the sake of non-toxicity. We then decided to create a brand that is both high-performance and organic, thanks to the selection of innovative natural ingredients.

The term "cosmeceutical" is a portmanteau of the words "cosmetic" and "pharmaceutical." It refers to skincare products formulated with a rigorous scientific approach, featuring optimized concentrations of active ingredients known for their effectiveness on the skin. At Alaena, we have developed a unique vision of cosmeceuticals: a "living" cosmetology that combines dermatological expertise with innovations from biotechnology and natural science. Founded by Dr. Sylvie Peres, a dermatologist, Alaena develops certified organic dermatological formulas designed to sustainably support the skin's natural functions and reactivate the vitality of its cells.
