Our desire to create an organic cosmetic brand was born from our family history. Close to nature, but also aware of health problems related to environmental quality, our mother, a dermatologist, strives to consider each person holistically. The quality of our skin reflects our balance. This includes a healthy and organic diet, regular physical activity, and the use of natural and organic cosmetic products. She was thus one of the first dermatologists to recommend organic cosmetic products to her patients. It is essential for her to inquire about the harmfulness of certain cosmetic ingredients and to prescribe the safest products. For this, she brings back old-fashioned, natural, and tailor-made magistral preparations. Always looking for innovative products, we do not want to sacrifice performance and pleasure for the sake of non-toxicity. We then decided to create a brand that is both high-performance and organic, thanks to the selection of innovative natural ingredients.

The term "cosmeceutical" is a portmanteau of the words "cosmetic" and "pharmaceutical." Cette certification encadre notamment l’origine des ingrédients, les procédés de transformation autorisés et différentes exigences environnementales applicables à la formulation et à la fabrication des cosmétiques. Pour Alaena, la certification bio constitue un cadre de formulation exigeant. Elle s’inscrit dans une démarche plus large qui associe sélection rigoureuse des ingrédients, expertise dermatologique et recherche scientifique.La certification bio ne signifie pas qu’un soin est efficace par nature.
