Fruit Acid Peel: An Expert Protocol to Transform Skin

Peeling aux acides de fruits : un protocole expert pour transformer la peau

At the crossroads of dermatology and natural science, we champion a living cosmetology: a savoir-faire that combines the efficacy of natural active ingredients with biotechnological innovation to reactivate skin cell vitality.

The Fruit Acid Peel is part of this approach. It acts as a cellular renewal accelerator to restore more even, clearer, and more radiant skin.

Why incorporate an AHA peel into your routine?

Correcting pigmentation spots and hyperpigmentation

Pigmentary irregularities result from slowed cellular renewal and uneven melanin distribution.
AHAs exert targeted keratolytic action, promoting the elimination of pigment-laden cells. The complexion brightens, and spots gradually fade.

Improving imperfections and skin texture

The accumulation of dead cells and excess sebum contribute to pore obstruction. The peel unclogs, refines skin texture, and limits the appearance of imperfections. It also acts on post-acne marks by stimulating skin regeneration.

Optimizing the effectiveness of treatments

Congested skin limits the penetration of active ingredients.
By restarting cellular renewal, the peel improves skin permeability and enhances the effectiveness of moisturizing and repairing treatments, especially formulas rich in biomimetic active ingredients.

A formula with natural origin AHAs, inspired by dermatological peels

The Alaena Fruit Acid Peel combines different AHAs from plant sources, selected for their biological complementarity:

  • Glycolic acid (sugar cane): stimulates cellular renewal
  • Citric acid (citrus fruits): evens and revives radiance
  • Lactic acid (blueberry): exfoliates while maintaining hydration
  • Tartaric acid (maple): refines skin texture

This synergy acts on the surface, without altering the skin barrier, to restart natural exfoliation mechanisms.

How to use a fruit acid peel?

Its gel texture and AHA concentration are suitable for home use.
- Apply to clean, dry skin
- Avoid the eye contour
- Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes (depending on your skin type)
- Rinse with lukewarm water
- Dr. Sylvie Peres recommends use once or twice a week, depending on skin type.

Who is the AHA peel for?

This peel is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin, provided it is used appropriately.
It is particularly indicated for:
- dull complexion
- pigmentary irregularities
- imperfections and dilated pores

Precautions and contraindications

Formulated without essential oils, it is compatible with pregnancy. For sensitive skin or skin prone to rosacea, limit to one application per week with an adjusted leave-on time. As with any peel, avoid immediate sun exposure after use. In case of redness, wait for the skin to return to its normal state.

Home peel vs. dermatological peel: what's the difference?

Inspired by in-office peels, this home peel acts superficially and in a controlled manner. It stimulates cellular renewal without causing irritation or social downtime, while maintaining excellent skin tolerance.
After the peel, applying the Intense Hydration Mask helps restore skin balance.
