Hotel l'Ovella Negra, Andorra

The Ovella Negra is a mountain refuge made of stone, wood, and concrete. Built in the early 2000s, this rustic lodge housed tractors and hay until its renovation in 2017.

" I wanted to create an unusual space, for people who aren't afraid of a little adventure, who understand that comfort and luxury mean a lit fire, life-giving candles, noble materials, good beds, good food, and good company, " says Prisca Llagostera, founder and co-owner.

A true gathering place, this mountain chalet is happy and joyful during the summer months surrounded by green trees, welcoming and humble in winter in a snowy setting.

Noble materials serve as a backdrop for welcoming spaces. Wood abounds throughout, creating a naturally colored canvas for a selection of designer pieces, from brass candlesticks to velvet sofas.

A hanging fireplace embodies the property's rustic yet elegant aesthetic, while iron and concrete pillars add texture.

A new kind of hotel with raw sophistication, where people gather for summer concerts, yoga retreats, or to share a friendly moment around the fireplace.
