The story of the Hôtel Regina

Built in 1907 by architect and landscape designer Henry Martinet, the Regina Hotel & Spa is an iconic Belle Époque building in Biarritz. With a monumental 15-meter-high atrium, vast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, an Eiffel glass roof, and numerous Art Deco details, its decor has been completely revamped by designer Dorothée Meilichzon, who revisits the luxury of seaside vacations in Biarritz. Reimagining the score of a 1920s cocktail piano bar, sofas mirror the shapes of the Itsasoan footbridge in Guéthary, creating numerous intimate spaces with hanging paper lamps by Ingo Maurer and Anthony Dickens.

The Regina Experimental team is composed of experts who perform their treatments in one of their three treatment rooms, two of which are double rooms.

In a relaxing environment, the Regina Spa invites you to reconnect with your inner self and offers a holistic approach to well-being through personalized treatments.

The Day Spa package for 2 people includes:

• 9:00 AM - Outdoor Yoga class (1 hour)

• 10:30 AM - Access to the outdoor pool, open and heated from April to October (2 hours)

• 12:00 PM - Lunch in our incredible Atrium or on the restaurant terrace (includes: cocktail or mocktail, assorted appetizers to share, main course of the moment, choice of dessert, mineral water, and coffee)

• 1:30 PM - Access to the spa's large oriental hammam

• 2:00 PM - 80-minute spa treatment (Massage & facial with protocols specially designed by Alaena)

The rooms

Accessible from hallways open to the atrium, the hotel's seventy-two white, blue, and mint green rooms face the ocean or the Biarritz Golf course. Raw materials such as straw and Japanese rope harmonize with marine stripes, seashells, and an ocean liner style: curved and rounded shapes, long horizontal lines, aquatic-patterned rugs... for spacious and comfortable rooms and suites. Some offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic coast.

The restaurant

The hotel's vast restaurant and its large panoramic terrace facing the ocean host Frenchie Biarritz, a creative brasserie rooted in the beautiful Basque culinary culture. Refined Southwestern cuisine in an idyllic setting with a stunning view of the sunset.

The swimming pool

Heated from April to October, enjoy the hotel pool to cool off and swim a few laps in a privileged setting.
